Pioneer Cuts started as a dream and ended up as the premier CNC machine shop in the state of Michigan. President, Jason Davis, began as a part-time general laborer in a machine shop after school. After 25 years in the field and finding a passion in CNC programming he decided to venture out on his own and plant the seeds of Pioneer Cuts. One machine in a residential 1 car garage was the humble beginning. Through hard work and dedication, he was able to acquire more machines and install state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment to expand the scope of Pioneer Cuts’ services.
With the help of his dedicated machinist team, Jason Davis now handles projects big and small. From CNC milling and rapid prototyping to fast parts assembly and precision metal finishing, he and his experts comprise the most dependable, full-service Quick Turn CNC machining shop in the state. Today, Pioneer Cuts is housed inside a massive 8,500 square foot facility in Onsted, MI. Clients can now quickly upload CAD files on the website to get 6-hour quotes on most projects. Since the company’s move to a bigger facility in 2018, they’ve added 24-hour expedited parts manufacturing and comprehensive tracing technologies to help clients turn concepts into reality without fail.
